How do I work now, mostly, using a mix of SAI and Photoshop.
Featuring Thor and Loki because I can't help but LOVE this movie. QuQ

Fangirlness aside, this is one of the few works I actually...kept from sketch to finished version. So i decided to use it as a little recompilation. nwn

Sketch - Lines - colors - Final touches and BG.

Sketch = The idea, the messy and wtf idea, sometimes they have faces, sometimes they don't...it depends on what I will draw, if the expression is important or the focus of the drawing, it may be the only things that its shown properly.

Lines = I didn't show it here, but I use a second sketch layer in red to draw the right composition over the sketch, like...anatomy, details, objects. And to tweak the drawing till I like what I see. AFTER that, I ink everything with the brush tool, making the lines and the really black shadows.

Colors = Base colors, tones and shadowing. The colors here are very much a cell shading, also: they are not affected by BG colors.

Final = BG, lights, toning, changes of opacity, contrast. I play a lot with this till I like what I see, and then use the stroke tool to make the line around them. Its much like playing, really...Tough this step stresses me the most. I tend to change things and remake them many times if I am not satisfied with the final product.
